Fifteen years ago I was living in New York City, teaching at Columbia University and completing my first book. I was riding a career wave I had been cultivating for most of my adult life, and I was becoming increasingly successful. I was gaining a national reputation in my field, lecturing across the country and writing major articles and introductions for other people’s books. But inside I was deeply unhappy. My environment was very competitive and coercive. I looked forward into the future I had projected for myself and I knew I would never be satisfied. So I left. And I have never regretted it.

Not that is it hasn’t been difficult, because at times it really has been. And I didn’t know where I was going, or what I was going to do. But I could feel a push inside that was undeniable, and I followed it. I discovered metaphysics through my first prosperity teacher, Bob Proctor (“The Secret”, You Were Born Rich). I learned about affirmative thinking and created a new life for myself, including a successful network marketing business and attracting a new life partner to whom I’ve been happily married for 11 years. I also learned that really taking command of my energy field was more complex than saying affirmations, and that led me into healing and deeper spiritual work. Now I’ve become an expert in identifying and releasing unconscious patterns and stuck energy so I can consciously and effectively use the Law of Attraction to my advantage.

As I got more in touch with my own gifts and talents, I realized that I would have to make my own way because nowhere was there a job description that would allow me to truly express myself and make the kind of money I wanted to make. Over the last decade I have created an authentic, unique, and successful business as a Soul Healer and Spiritual Counselor ~ because I had to if I was to make the contribution I came here to make.
